The Altaris Mainnet Upgrade is expected to go live this week and it marks the beginning of a massive shift in Injective. This upgrade is designed to improve scalability, implement more powerful smart contracts in the future and list their Real World Assets (RWAs).

Injective Improvement Proposal (IIP-420)

Altaris Upgrade, which has been triggered based on Injective Improvement Proposal-420 (IIP-420). Every $INJ stakers can vote on this proposal, and currently ~99% are in favor. The improvement proposal is expected to be approved, with the upgrade scheduled for August 1st of that year

Developer Toolkit Upgrade

Updates to the Python, Go, and TypeScript SDKs support the new Altaris chain version, enhancing developer capabilities. Additionally, the Injective-proto repository has been updated with new proto definitions for seamless integration.

Security and User Experience Enhancements

The Altaris upgrade includes significant enhancements to the Injective Bridge for improved performance and management. Users can now utilize Ledger hardware wallets via the CLI, providing a secure and convenient transaction option.

Enriched Interoperability
