INJECTIVE Year in Review: 2023
Injective’s journey in 2023 has been marked by remarkable achievements, including the launch of inEVM and inSVM rollup environments, making it the only chain supporting WASM, EVM, and SVM development. These milestones showcase Injective’s commitment to expanding capabilities and compatibility across Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana, unifying diverse blockchain environments into one chain.
The integration of Injective’s blockchain data via Injective Nexus on Google Cloud reflects the platform’s momentum, providing unique access to specialized datasets for developers and enterprises. This recognition places Injective in an elite group alongside leading blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum, offering expanded opportunities for data utilization and application development on the fastest L1 built for finance.
Within the Injective ecosystem, the year witnessed success across various Web3 finance realms, including DeFi, NFT Fi, RWAs, and Game Fi. Notable dApps such as Helix, Mito, and Talis Protocol contributed to this growth. Helix introduced Pre-Launch Futures, democratizing access to pre-launch assets, while Mito’s automated vaults and launchpad product launched on the Injective testnet. Talis Protocol, a leading NFT marketplace, achieved a major milestone by launching on mainnet, creating over 265,000 NFTs and becoming a prominent NFT protocol in the crypto space.
Institutional and enterprise adoption of Injective expanded as well, with support for Ondo’s tokenized treasuries making Injective one of the few chains enabling users to access TradFi yield opportunities entirely on-chain. Collaborations like Helix Institutional further strengthened shared liquidity across the Injective ecosystem.
The platform experienced significant user and wallet address growth, with active wallet addresses surging from 14,000 to over 290,000. The total number of transactions also saw a substantial increase, reaching over 390 million from 140 million in 2022. Staking reached over 47 million INJ tokens, solidifying Injective as one of the largest L1 networks ever created.
These developments not only highlight Injective’s numerical growth but also underscore the deepening trust and engagement within the community. The newly launched Ninja Ambassador program attracted over 200,000 Ninjas, fostering an active community sharing Injective’s mission to reshape the financial industry.
